Inventory Accountant Position

This role entails managing the cost of goods sold, inventory demand planning, and providing timely support to clients across top U.S. or European companies.

  • Manage COGS, inventory demand planning, and ad-hoc pricing/margin analysis for clients.
  • Support new client account onboarding and configure client accounting systems.
  • Develop strong client relationships through regular check-ins and day-to-day communication.
  • Oversee retail operational accounting, including issuing invoices and reconciling discounts and chargebacks.
  • Track and manage reconciliation schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities/expenses, and deferred revenue.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle client/vendor inquiries.
  • Support month-end accounting functions, account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as excellent communication skills.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 3+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Bachelor's, Associates, or Accounting Certification required.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Experience with inventory accounting required.
