Financial Planning Specialist

The role of a Financial Planning Specialist involves coordinating the planning process, ensuring timely delivery of financial plans. This includes collaborating with team members to drive informed budgeting, monitoring performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the planning submission process for operations and capital expenditures, involving collaboration with partners, examination and consolidation of data, and delivery of the final plan.
  • Drive realistic plans from business partners by examining and discussing the drivers and assumptions behind the numbers.
  • Refine templates necessary for submission, ensuring efficient automation.
  • Continuously review the plan throughout the year by analyzing actual versus planned variances and discussing outcomes with partners.
  • Build and deliver reports to stakeholders, highlighting important deviations and collaborating to understand explanations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and business partnering.
  • Strong foundation in finance principles.
  • Demonstrated skill in working across functions and collaborating with partners.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate financial information to non-finance audiences.
