Job Overview

As a Financial Planner , you will be part of a collaborative team that supports financial advisors by preparing tailored financial analyses and plans. Your role will focus on research, data review, and building well-structured financial plans that enhance the advice provided to clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Client Financial Review: Examine clients' financial documents to understand their investments, insurance, retirement, taxes, and estate needs.
  • Financial Plan Creation: Support advisors in drafting detailed, customized financial plans.
  • Research & Analysis: Explore investment options, insurance products, retirement strategies, and other planning solutions.
  • Modeling & Software Use: Build projections, cash flow analyses, and scenario comparisons using tools like eMoney or MoneyGuidePro.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all plans and documents follow industry rules and company standards while keeping organized records.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with paraplanners and advisors to ensure high-quality deliverables and enhance client satisfaction.

What our Client is Looking For:

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning, paraplanning, or supporting advisory teams
  • Strong knowledge of personal finance, investments, insurance, and tax planning
  • Skilled in financial planning software, Excel, and CRM systems
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality
  • Experience in a Registered Investment Advisor, fee-based advisory firm, or supporting advisory relationships in a financial services firm
  • Familiarity with retirement planning, estate planning, or small business financial planning
