Job Description

The Senior GL Accountant will be responsible for certain month-end close, reconciliation and reporting procedures. This includes reviewing and preparing monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries, as well as performing day-to-day accounting processes and procedures relating to fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and certain accruals.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange, as well as experience in preparing journal entries, reconciling financial statements and accounts, and ensuring data accuracy.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Review and prepare monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries
  • Perform day-to-day accounting processes and procedures
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile financial statements and accounts
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
  • 5 years of General Ledger experience
  • Strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange
  • Experience in preparing journal entries, reconciling financial statements and accounts, and ensuring data accuracy
