Job Title: Benefits Verifier

The Virtual Assistant plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers by verifying patients' insurance coverage and benefits. This position ensures accurate and timely verification of insurance information to help facilitate smooth admissions, billing, and claims processes.

    • Monitor expiration dates for existing authorizations.
    • Initiate renewal processes prior to expiration.
    • Notify clinical and administrative teams of any issues or lapses.
  4. Coordinate with Clinical Staff
    • Request clinical documentation for submissions.
    • Communicate with clinicians to ensure compliant documents.
    • Ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare administration.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance terminology and benefit structures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with time management skills.
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets, CRM tools, and insurance portals.
