Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to support our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in bookkeeping and billing, thrive in a fast-paced remote environment, and be proactive in wearing many hats across financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and journal entries
  • Process invoices, refunds, and credits, and assist with collections
  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
  • Investigate and resolve finance-related support issues
  • Support ad-hoc financial operations tasks and data entry
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth financial workflows
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or bookkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Highly organized and dependable with solid time management
  • Proactive problem-solver who can work independently without frequent escalation
  • Comfortable working with communication tools like Slack and Gmail
  • Must have worked on a graveyard shift (night shift)
  • Ability to work full-time during any US time zone
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
  • Familiarity with billing platforms (Chargebee, Stripe, Recurly, etc.)
  • Background in startups, SMEs, freelancing, or remote admin work
  • CPA certification
