
Compassionate Patient Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Advocate to support patients in navigating the complexities of the healthcare system.
This role involves enrolling patients in aid programs, managing post-enrollment tasks, and ensuring accurate and complete patient enrollments.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in high-performance environments, hands-on experience in healthcare, and strong communication skills.
They will be responsible for coordinating medication deliveries, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying opportunities to improve our products and services.
- Enroll patients in philanthropic aid programs.
- Effectively manage post-enrollment work such as submitting claims or ordering medications.
- Reviewing patient enrollments for accuracy and completeness.
- Escalate and appeal patient assistance denials.
- Proven experience in a high-performance environment.
- Hands-on experience working in healthcare is a must.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to offer emotional support and empathy.
- Internet access provided by a cable or fiber provider
- Minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps.
- Minimum download speed of 5 Mbps.
- Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of the Work From Home position.
