Key Responsibilities

The Billing Specialist is responsible for the management of billing processes across multiple accounts. The role requires ensuring all services provided are correctly billed and payments are received in a timely manner.

  • Manage billing processes for multiple accounts, including obtaining and verifying log sheets from clients
  • Take full responsibility for the entire invoicing process, from initiation to completion
  • Collaborate directly with clients to facilitate payment processes, track all payments, and resolve payment issues promptly
  • Review aging accounts on a weekly basis to identify overdue payments and unpaid invoices, following up with clients or facilities to resolve outstanding balances efficiently
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in billing or invoicing, along with proven experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable roles. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software and tools such as QuickBooks are also essential.

  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and report on account trends and issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client collaboration
Billing Compliance and Accuracy

The Billing Specialist will ensure that all services are properly paid for and accounted for in compliance with company standards. This role requires close monitoring of account trends and efficient resolution of payment issues to maintain high levels of billing compliance and accuracy.
