Retention Marketing Strategist

As a key member of our marketing team, you will lead strategy development and campaign execution for client retention initiatives. Collaborating with account managers, copywriters, designers, and strategists, you will drive top results through effective strategy implementation, automation, and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies targeting client needs and customer insights.
  • Monitor, measure, and optimise campaign performance to ensure error-free launches and continuous improvements.
  • Work closely with the Graphic Design, Copywriting, and Project Management teams to deliver on-brand, timely, and cost-effective projects.
  • Track, analyse, and report on email KPIs, campaign outcomes, and competitor activity to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Lead client communication through regular calls and presentations, aligning strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage a small team, including coaching, onboarding, and training new hires.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-building and service development by refining processes and updating training resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in retention marketing, email marketing, or digital campaign execution.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing platforms like Klaviyo, HubSpot, or Mailchimp.
  • Proficient in executing email and SMS campaigns.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, or dashboards.
  • Strong attention to detail for error-free campaign execution.
  • Excellent time management to meet campaign deadlines.
  • Proven experience managing teams, with prior experience leading remote teams an advantage.
