Real Estate Analyst

This role involves performing a range of duties to support the financial management and analysis of real estate assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating reports, analyzing data, and providing insights to inform business decisions.

About the Role
  • Create weekly and monthly funding reports to track the company's financial performance.
  • Analyze liquidity statements and monitor compliance with liquidity requirements.
  • Prepare quarterly loan compliance reports for major lending partners.
  • Generate Yardi reports as requested by Asset Managers and Property Managers.
  • Assist with loan financing and refinancing, including underwriting and due diligence.
  • Review and prepare yearly budgets for various properties and assets.
  • Identify replacement and relinquished properties for 1031 exchanges, calculate deferred tax gains and losses, and determine property tax basis.
  • Support acquisitions and dispositions, including due diligence, closing, and exchange setup.
  • Update summaries of acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and 1031 exchanges, and maintain accurate records of property tax basis.
  • Maintain LoanBoss accuracy and generate special reports as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting, or relevant experience.
  • Latin honors (cum laude or better) from a reputable university.
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management and/or acquisitions.
  • Experience working with top consulting firms or financial institutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and ability to work effectively with minimal oversight.
  • Unquestionable integrity, ethics, and passion for commercial real estate.
