Job Description

As a key member of our organization, we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager/Controller to oversee the financial operations and provide strategic financial support.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models to inform business decisions.
    • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting and Reporting
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Compliance and Audit
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, developing team skills and improving departmental efficiency.
  • Strategic Financial Support
    • Provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making and evaluate financial risks to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management
    • Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency, overseeing investments, banking relationships, and funding arrangements.
    Requirements
    • 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting with 2+ years in management budgeting and projections.
    • Proven track record in managerial or controller positions with experience in cashflow management.
    Skills
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks online, Quickbooks desktop) and advanced Excel.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
