Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Software Architecture Leader to oversee the design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions. This role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Negotiate project scope, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and lead by example in code quality, documentation, and testing.
  • Evaluate project progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster open communication among team members, encouraging collaboration, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and industry standards, introducing new tools and techniques for software development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in software development, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in C++, Java, Linux, and Unix programming languages, as well as Agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in data analysis and presentation.
  • Previous experience in telecommunications/data communication is highly desirable.
  • Technical certifications are an asset.
