Job Summary

The Applications Architect is responsible for providing expert guidance and support to the IT leader in determining the long-range strategic direction of systems, software stack, and databases. This includes designing and recommending software application solutions for diverse and complex business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level oversight on project work and ensure new projects align with an overall strategic vision.
  • Design and recommend software application solutions for packaged application customization, custom development, and multi-system integration.
  • Ensure new systems meet functional requirements and achieve service qualities such as performance, scalability, and extensibility.
  • Review and improve existing systems using new technologies and methodologies for continual enhancement.
  • Provide coaching and support to applications and technical support teams on problem resolution and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Expertise in software architecture and design principles
  • Strong understanding of system integration and database management
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with project management and team leadership
