Job Overview

As a seasoned Data Governance Professional, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing HR data quality and ensuring unwavering confidence in workforce, performance, and talent data.

  • You will support high-stakes decision-making in HR through the delivery of accurate, timely, and complete data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand the importance of organizational vision and core values. Implement policies, programs, and directives from senior management with precision.
  2. Comprehend the far-reaching impact of HR data on business decisions and respond accordingly.
  3. Manage deadlines and take ownership of deliverables (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual) with impeccable prioritization skills.
  4. Identify and proactively report key risk areas for HR data and reporting domains (e.g., incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or ambiguous data, data privacy exposures).
  5. Maintain documentation of data policies and procedures with clarity and consistency, collaborating with regional stakeholders and the Design Council.
  6. Contribute to establishing an effective data governance framework.
  7. Engage actively with key stakeholders to pinpoint areas of improvement in existing processes.
  8. Participate effectively in projects and initiatives aimed at refining processes and boosting efficiency.
  9. Pursue relentless improvement of data validation and data quality.
  10. Monitor and report critical HR data and metrics in Workday Adaptive Planning with meticulous rigor.
  11. Nurture strong relationships with regional stakeholders, leveraging influencing, negotiation, and consultation skills to drive desired outcomes.
  12. Represent the data team in various forums with poise.
  13. Demonstrate a profound understanding of regional stakeholders' perspectives, expectations, and requirements.
  14. Deliver impactful reporting and data insights training.
  15. Contribute meaningfully to HR operational and strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  16. Assume ownership of data: ensure consistency and accuracy of data and services for AUSPAC or Asia stakeholders.
  17. Introduce innovative ideas to continuously enhance data quality and customer satisfaction.
  18. Oversee daily monitoring and action of data validation.
  19. Develop a deep understanding of factors affecting data quality (e.g., timing, source systems, translations) to develop a comprehensive grasp of data lineage.
  20. Ensure that data validation rules and tolerances remain fit for purpose and are updated/supplemented as needed.
  21. Compile client reports with precision and professionalism.
  22. Excel in Excel, reporting tools, and analytical skills.
  23. Exhibit exceptional presentation skills and maintain extremely high attention to detail.
  24. Demonstrate ONEQBE values.
  25. Support colleagues in achieving their objectives where feasible.
  26. Participate actively in the Performance Management Process (PMP), including SMART objectives development, Personal Development Plans, and KPIs.
