Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements for our clients. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, performing key month-end accounting tasks such as financial data entry/import, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Month-End Accounting Tasks: Perform key month-end accounting tasks, including financial data entry/import, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset schedules and assist in tax return preparation during peak seasons.
  • Book Reconciliation: Reconcile books across multiple entities with precision and efficiency.
  • Accounts Payable Processing: Manage accounts payable processing through RAMP software integrated with NetSuite.
  • Client Support: Support client-facing accounting teams with monthly close activities in QuickBooks Online when available.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
  • Accounting Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in cash and tax basis accounting principles.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, macros, VLOOKUPs); strong data management skills.
  • Certifications: Certified in QuickBooks Online (QBO preferred); experience with Accounting CS is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently. Professional communication skills and ability to interact effectively with staff and clients.
