Job Overview

The Senior Tax Accountant is a key member of the finance team responsible for delivering accurate and timely tax compliance services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lodge individual income tax returns, business activity statements, installment activity statements, and fringe benefits tax returns in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage client accounting files using Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, including bookkeeping, payroll processing, and uploading invoice payments.
  • Process quarterly superannuation payments and prepare monthly management reports (P&L and balance sheet) for clients from their accounting platforms.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required by senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification preferred.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Australian accounting or taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance.
