Job Title: Tax Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, advising clients on tax-related matters, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax laws.

Main Responsibilities">

  • Preparation and Review of Tax Returns: You will prepare and review U.S. individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065, etc.) in compliance with IRS guidelines.">
  • Tax Planning and Compliance: You will advise clients on tax planning, compliance, and structuring matters to minimize tax liabilities and ensure regulatory compliance.">
  • Representation before the IRS: You will represent clients before the IRS in audits, appeals, and collection cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution of tax disputes.">
  • Support for Cross-Functional Teams: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., accounting, legal) to provide expert tax guidance and support on tax issues.">

  • Professional Certifications: You must be an Enrolled Agent (EA) with current IRS credentials.">
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation and consulting.">
  • Tax Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of U.S. tax codes, especially for individuals and small businesses, and experience with tax software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax, or similar).">
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.">
