Job Role

Overview

The Business Analyst - Quality Assurance is a technical professional responsible for delivering quality solutions in a timely and efficient manner to clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in clients' business operations and industry knowledge.
  • Responsible for analyzing and defining business and system requirements, recommending solutions to improve clients' business outcomes.
  • Communicate business requirements and recommend solutions clearly to the Project Manager or Development Team.
  • Participate in solution development and ensure that deliverables satisfy business requirements.
  • Create technical documentation and functional user guides.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans for system implementations.
  • Perform unit and comprehensive testing with system developers for overall quality assurance of functional and technical quality of deliverables.
  • Train users on the system and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Identify and raise risks and issues related to business needs and team capabilities.
  • Support management and business development teams in assessing new clients' business needs to capture new opportunities.
  • Provide inputs to project management for schedule planning.
  • Assist Project Manager in determining work effort and scheduling.
  • Track project status and communicate status to project managers or lead consultants or to clients as appropriate.
Clients
  • Establish effective communication with clients and project teams.
  • Attend team or client meetings to present project specifications or report project status.
  • Develop strong client relationships from middle to senior management levels.
  • Ensure clients' business expectations are aligned with commitments.
Financial Management
  • Assist project managers or lead consultants in determining and monitoring project direction, scope, work plans, and budgets.
  • Assist in determining requirements for estimating new project budgets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related areas.
  • At least five years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience or training in web-based applications and tools.
  • Test plan creation, testing procedures, and test plan execution experience preferred.
  • Experience in Financials, Human Resources, or Benefits domain areas preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience working with US and/or UK colleagues preferred.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
