Accounts Receivable Specialist Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to manage aged receivables, invoicing, and client reporting. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Sending invoices and communicating with clients to request payments
  • Managing collection efforts and related functions
  • Sending statements for outstanding balances
  • Recording and tracking payments in databases and accounting software
  • Performing account reconciliations accurately and timely
  • Interacting with customers to resolve issues
  • Reconciling A/R to the G/L
  • Preparing weekly accounts receivable aging reports

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial management software such as Xero or QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
  • Good project management and organizational skills
