Backend Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles, with experience in developing high-quality, maintainable code using Typescript/Javascript (NodeJS). You should also have knowledge of popular DBMS technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and version control systems like git.

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Typescript/Javascript (NodeJS) programming language
  • Experience with popular DBMS technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of version control systems like git
  • Experience in building APIs using REST, GraphQL, gRPC (advantage)
  • Knowledge of deployment and build tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Bazel, Ansible
  • Cloud management experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Circle CI, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
