About Software Development

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a backend software developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in JavaScript and Node.js. They will be responsible for implementing backend features and functionality using established coding conventions and patterns.

  • Implement backend services and features using Node.js and JavaScript based on provided specifications.
  • Follow established coding conventions, patterns, and architectural guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough manual QA and testing of implemented features before submission.
  • Read and understand detailed requirements, asking clarifying questions when needed.
  • Collaborate with the lead engineer to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to engineering standards.
  • Participate in code reviews with a focus on learning and consistency.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
  • Excellent ability to follow established coding styles and conventions.
  • Proven track record of implementing features based on written requirements and specifications.
  • Experience with manual QA and testing methodologies.
  • Strong reading comprehension and the ability to ask clarifying questions.
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Self-motivated and effective in a remote-work environment.

Bonus: Experience with AI and LLM tools like Claude Code is a plus.
