Job Opportunity
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in managing healthcare accounts, specifically with experience in the AthenaOne EMR system, and possess a background in collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handle inbound and outbound calls, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service to healthcare clients utilizing the AthenaOne EMR system.
- Utilize expertise in healthcare accounts to navigate the AthenaOne EMR system effectively.
- Handle customer accounts in collections, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding balances, and negotiating payment arrangements when necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and account updates in a company database.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare account management to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare environment, with knowledge of the AthenaOne EMR software.
- Demonstrated experience in handling collections accounts and familiarity with collections practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve customer issues and concerns.
- Proficiency in using computer applications and software, including the MS Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules as needed to accommodate business needs.
