Senior Accounting Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our global finance team. This role will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and financial reporting.

  • The successful candidate will have advanced experience in Netsuite and MS Excel, with strong knowledge of revenue recognition and billing best practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices based on sales orders, including volume-based billing metrics

  2. Generate and issue credit notes in accordance with company policies

  3. Record and reconcile incoming customer payments on a timely basis

  4. Review customer agreements and ensure billing schedules align with contract terms

  5. Support revenue recognition reviews and ensure compliance with accounting standards

  6. Regularly analyze AR aging reports to proactively address collection risks

  7. Collaborate with finance teams to resolve client billing or payment issues

  8. Prepare reports related to AR, collections, and invoicing for both finance and senior leadership

  9. Assist in designing and maintaining internal processes related to billing, cash collection, and bad debt tracking

  10. Provide support for month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, and ad hoc accounting projects

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or tech company

  • Advanced experience in managing multi-currency, multi-entity, and consolidated financial reporting

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and geographies

  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and comfort with fast-moving environments
