Financial Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review personal income tax returns for individuals, including employees, business schedules, and rental properties.
  • Determine taxable income from all sources and calculate associated franking credits.
  • Compile financial data and reconcile all income and expenses.
  • Calculate capital gains on disposal of assets and prepare financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare monthly management reports.
  • Perform regular data entry and bookkeeping tasks and prepare documents as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional License is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the related field.
  • Proficiency in modern cloud accounting software, such as Xero and Sage HandiTax.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dynamic personality and enthusiasm for continuous learning in Accounting, Technology, and Business processes.
