We are seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to proactively manage delinquent accounts, contact customers to secure payments, negotiate repayment terms, and maintain precise account records.

This role requires strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, both verbal and written, phone etiquette, chat, email, and interpersonal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years collections experience, with no more than a 3-month gap in recent employment. A proven track record of managing 120+ days delinquent accounts, BPO experience, and proficiency in CRM and call center systems is a plus.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers via phone or email to resolve past-due accounts and secure payments
  • Determine reasons for delinquency and negotiate payment plans or full settlements
  • Update customer accounts accurately using CRM tools
  • Follow established guidelines to recommend appropriate collection remedies
  • Explain delinquency consequences and develop repayment schedules
  • Handle customer payment inquiries and resolve issues independently
  • Maintain accurate account records for resolution tracking
  • Achieve key performance metrics while complying with policies
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years collections experience required

  • Experience managing 120+ days delinquent accounts and BPO experience a plus
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and phone etiquette
  • Proficiency in CRM and call center systems a plus
