Accounts Payable Clerk Job Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk will serve as a vital link in the company's financial chain, ensuring timely and accurate transactions, maintaining healthy cash flows, and contributing to the company's overall financial stability and growth.

This is a full-time role that requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Netsuite, and BILL.

  • Manage the outflow of financial resources by processing bills, making payments, and reimbursing expenses.
  • Verify and review bills and check requests for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enforce payment terms and maintain accurate vendor records.
  • Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports.
  • Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders, contracts, bills, or payments, and ensure proper documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Proven working experience as an accounts payable clerk.
  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Netsuite, and BILL.
