Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to lead our team of experts and drive the delivery of high-quality tax services. As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing multiple operations within the tax practice area and providing strategic guidance to clients on maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the preparation of federal tax returns and ensuring timely creation of tax-related documentation.
  • Delivering efficient completion of quality tax returns and providing exceptional client service.
  • Conducting a second-level review of tax provisions, calculations, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including monitoring changes in tax legislation and implementing necessary adjustments to tax reporting.
  • Driving team production throughout the cycle, delegating and organizing work throughout the team to maximize efficiency.
  • Actively contributing to POD/Team management, taking ownership of various projects and reporting to senior management.
  • Assisting in developing guidelines for the team to follow while preparing respective tax documentation after analyzing US tax provisions for public and private companies.
  • Maintaining active communication with stakeholders to manage expectations, ensure deadlines are met, and enhance relationships.
  • Managing, developing, training, and mentoring staff on tax projects and assessing performance for engagement and year-end reviews.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Chartered Accountant (C.A.) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive functional experience in a relevant role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of other tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of US taxation principles, procedures, and laws.
  • Knowledge of Corporate taxation principles, procedures, and laws.
  • Knowledge of Internal Audit principles and processes.
  • Knowledge of document and report preparation for management information and control.
  • Understanding of tax operations of shared service organizations and In-house Captive Centers, including evolving global and local megatrends and best practices.
  • Understanding of the tax landscape and evolving working styles in industry, with a focus on the tax accounting segment.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Learner agility and conflict resolution skills.
  • Solution orientation and team leadership skills.
