ABA Therapy Credentialing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage credentialing and re-credentialing processes for ABA therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Complete and maintain credentialing applications for clinicians, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Submit applications to commercial and Medicaid payers, tracking statuses and communicating with insurance companies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of licensure, certifications, and compliance documentation, ensuring seamless coordination with scheduling teams.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of demographic updates and provider termination notices.
- Monitor credentialing expiration dates and initiate renewals, minimizing disruptions.
- Assist the billing team with credentialing-related issues, providing expert guidance and support.
- Proven experience in credentialing, preferably in ABA or behavioral health.
- Strong knowledge of credentialing processes and insurance requirements, enabling effective application management.
- Familiarity with BACB and state licensing requirements for ABA professionals, ensuring compliance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitating seamless collaboration with stakeholders.
- Proficiency with EMR systems like CentralReach, Rethink, or Catalyst, streamlining data management.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and accuracy, maintaining trust and respect.
