About Credentialing Coordinator

This is a role that involves providing comprehensive credentialing assistance to healthcare providers. The coordinator will manage applications, conduct primary source verification and maintain the credentialing database with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with credentialing processes including application management, primary source verification and data entry.

  • Evaluate and ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state and local regulations and accreditation standards.

  • Support provider privileging by preparing necessary documentation and facilitate credentialing components of new provider onboarding.

  • Generate reports related to credentialing and identify issues proactively.

  • Contribute to process improvements in credentialing workflows.

About You

We are looking for an organized individual who is detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.

  • You should have 1-3 years of experience in administrative support preferably in a healthcare setting or regulated environment.

  • You should be proactive and collaborative with strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency in administrative processes.

  • Able to learn and develop expertise in healthcare credentialing standards and compliance.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with systematic approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

  • Proficient in Google Suite, Slack and CRM/support software with ability to learn EHR/credentialing management tools.
