Job Title: Project Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee and execute multiple projects involving low-voltage systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, burglar alarms, and network infrastructure installations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, technical proficiency in low-voltage systems, and a strong construction background.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality installations.
  2. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and timelines.
  3. Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Design layouts for access control systems, surveillance cameras, and other low-voltage systems using Bluebeam and System Surveyor.
  5. Oversee the configuration, installation, and commissioning of systems, including cameras, access control devices, burglar alarms, and networking equipment.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to system installation or equipment performance.
  7. Assign tasks to technicians and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out professionally and efficiently while meeting project specifications.
  8. Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and offer guidance on technical, logistical, and operational challenges to keep projects on track.
  9. Coordinate and verify invoices from technicians and subcontractors for payment processing.
  10. Use project management tools (Zoho Desk/Projects) to update project statuses, track progress, and generate detailed progress reports for internal and client-facing use.
  11. Estimate and organize the ordering of materials and equipment required for each project, ensuring timely availability of resources.
  12. Collaborate with engineers and design teams to ensure all system specifications are accurately captured and translated into actionable project plans.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex low-voltage systems projects, including security systems, surveillance cameras, access control, and network infrastructure.
  • Previous experience in managing low-voltage installations in commercial or residential building environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of low-voltage systems and networking equipment.
  • Proficiency in project management and design tools (Zoho Desk/Projects, Bluebeam and System Surveyor).
  • Experience working with subcontractors and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage various project phases, including design, installation, testing, and project handover.
