Partnership Facilitator Role

We are seeking a skilled facilitator to support the growth and development of local church partners.

Job Description

The Partnership Facilitator II will serve as the primary liaison to local churches, fostering relationships built on mutual respect, trust, and service. They will be responsible for strengthening local ownership, capacity, and resources, enabling churches to effectively minister to children and youth.

This intermediate professional will nurture partnerships by facilitating the Partner Management core process, improving church outcomes, and adopting a developmental mindset. They will work independently on moderately complex projects and may coach other facilitators.

Responsibilities
  • Promote awareness about children's needs, prioritizing child protection, and report concerns of abuse or neglect.
  • Demonstrate commitment to serving, respecting, and empowering the church.
  • Strengthen church ownership and capacity through developmental approaches.
  • Facilitate reflection and planning with church partners to grow in capacity and maturity.
  • Support church strategies to engage parents, caregivers, children, and youth.
  • Work with pastors and church staff to identify capacity development needs.
  • Support mobilization of local resources and sharing among churches.
  • Support the church throughout all phases of the Program Cycle: Needs Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
  • Coordinate support to each church partner, tailoring facilitation plans to individual needs.
  • Oversee cluster operations, fostering relationships and collaboration among churches.
  • Facilitate church partner adoption of child protection standards and manage incident reporting.
  • Support program and partnership management objectives, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Utilize facilitation practices to identify needs and apply solutions, providing expertise as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Resident of Masbate or Sorsogon, or nearby provinces, with strong local community ties.
  • Minimum 5 years in community development or partnership management.
  • Experience in program cycle management for WASH, Education, and Livelihood projects.
  • Proficient in report writing and impact assessment.
  • Experience in financial management, facilitation, and liaising.
  • Ability to develop networks and mobilize resources.
  • Active member of a local church, passionate about serving children and churches.
  • Church leadership or administrative experience is an advantage.
Requirements and Benefits

Up to 50% travel may be required. Equivalent education, training, or certification may substitute for experience and education.
