Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

The position of Quality Assurance Manager involves leading and overseeing quality assurance and food safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Developing, implementing, and continuously improving food safety and quality assurance procedures to guarantee alignment with legal obligations and professional benchmarks.
- Liaising with production, engineering, logistics, R&D, and marketing departments to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Leading investigations of major non-conformances, customer complaints, and product recalls; conducting root cause analysis and effecting corrective actions.
- Overseeing internal and external audits to ensure preparedness and successful compliance.
- Establishing and monitoring key quality performance indicators and regularly reporting findings to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Nutrition & Dietetics, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
- A minimum of five years' progressive experience in Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing sector, with at least two years in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance practices.
