Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to provide administrative support to our legal department. The successful candidate will conduct thorough research, draft contracts, and manage files.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Draft and review agreements, contracts, and correspondence in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, contracts, and case documentation in digital and physical formats.
  • Monitor filing deadlines and ensure compliance with legal requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of court documents and filings.
  • Record and track correspondence and legal activity for reporting purposes.
  • Support the legal team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with US, EU, AU, and/or UK legal systems and regulations.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills:
  • Reading: High quality for complex legal documents.
  • Writing: High quality for contracts and correspondence.
  • Speaking: Neutral accent for effective communication with clients and teams.
Proficient in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management tools.Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.Knowledge of legal technology tools, cloud-based systems, and document automation software.
