Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Computing Expert to join our team. This key role involves providing ongoing support, escalations, and proactive maintenance for our clients' cloud platforms.

  • Support client's cloud infrastructure, including response to any escalations from the monitoring team to help analyze and resolve incidents.
  • Communicate ticket status information to all team members and escalate cases to appropriate staff as necessary.
  • Interact with clients to identify IT issues, troubleshoot expediently, and follow up on issues via email, ticketing system, and phone calls.
  • Install, configure, and administer client systems in cloud environments to improve client infrastructure.
  • Configuration and tuning of cloud-based tools, managing cost, security, and compliance for client environments.
  • Execute monthly maintenance of the cloud infrastructure, including patching, verification of anti-virus updates, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Create and maintain updated documentation for each client environment.
  • Promote best practices to enhance and improve organizational processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, 2+ years of experience with cloud servers, services, and software, and experience with ITIL processes and associated ITSM systems. They should also have experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, Windows and Linux system administration, and CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform templates.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultation and monthly reports on client cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Participate in weekly discussions with clients to review outstanding issues and changes.
