We're seeking an experienced WordPress developer to join our team in a remote position.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in WordPress development, including PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. They should also have experience with WordPress block editors and Advanced Custom Fields.

In this role, you'll be responsible for building new WordPress websites from concept to completion, updating and maintaining existing client websites, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness, and implementing user-centered design principles.

You'll also be working on front-end solutions using PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and creating responsive designs using media queries. Additionally, you'll maintain code quality and site performance.

Strong problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality WordPress websites that meet client expectations
  • Ensure all websites are cross-browser compatible and responsive
  • Maintain and update existing client websites
  • Implement user-centered design principles
  • Work on front-end solutions using PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
Requirements
  • 4+ years of WordPress development experience
  • 4+ years of coding experience (PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
  • Proven experience with WordPress block editors and Advanced Custom Fields
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or equivalent proven experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Working Hours

Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time)

Compensation

$7 per hour

What We Offer

This is a remote position, requiring a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. You'll be working independently but will need to collaborate with the team occasionally.
