Job Profile

We are seeking an Intermediate SMSF Accountant to provide expert support in self-managed superannuation fund accounting and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Compile annual financial reports, tax returns, and compliance documents for SMSFs
  • Analyze fund transactions, including contributions, pensions, and investments
  • Ensure adherence to ATO regulations and superannuation laws
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and managers to finalize SMSF tasks
  • Support Australian client managers with queries and reporting
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-4 years of SMSF accounting experience within a reputable accounting firm
  • Detailed knowledge of the SIS Act, ATO requirements, and SMSF compliance standards
  • Experience with SMSF administration software (Class Super, BGL, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
