Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SMSF Accountant to take on the challenge of managing complex accounting and compliance tasks for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super software.
  • Prepare comprehensive workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory documents for SMSFs.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, and member statements for clients.
  • Ensure that all SMSF clients comply with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and Superannuation Industry requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience working with Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) in Australia.
  • Strong working knowledge of Class Super software.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in reconciliations, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero.
  • Exposure to financial statement preparation for SMSFs.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
