Senior SMSF Accountant Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior SMSF Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 2+ years of experience working on Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super.
  • Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients.
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory documents.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, and member statements.
  • Ensure compliance with ATO and Superannuation Industry requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience working with SMSFs in Australia.
  • Strong working knowledge of Class Super.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with Xero.
  • Exposure to financial statement preparation for SMSFs.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
