Senior SMSF Accountant Position

Our organization seeks a skilled Senior SMSF Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SMSF compliance and accounting, as well as leadership skills to mentor junior accountants.

Job Description

As a Senior SMSF Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation. You will also review and manage complex fund transactions, including pensions, contributions, and investment portfolios. Additionally, you will liaise with auditors to finalize SMSF compliance reviews and supervise and mentor intermediate SMSF accountants.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of SMSF legislation, SIS Act, and ATO requirements
  • Experience with Class Super, BGL, or other SMSF administration software
  • Strong review and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
