Job Title: Finance Transformation and Automation Consultant

About the Role

This is a technical expert position responsible for delivering automation solutions that support end-to-end streamlined finance processes. The successful candidate will develop complex automation solutions, manage partnerships with regional and local business units, and report directly to Asia Finance Transformation - Senior Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing & configuring efficient and scalable automation solutions.
  • Collaborating with regional and local finance colleagues to analyze various finance processes and identify feasible automation opportunities.
  • Supporting and enhancing existing processes by implementing change requirements through a structured change control process adhering to cascaded policies and business plans to ensure consistency and strategic coherence across all initiatives.
  • Actively working with corporate counterparts to ensure effective governance processes are in place.
  • Using analytical thinking and judgment to address day-to-day issues in automation processes, providing prompt responses and effective solutions to minimize impact to service delivery.
  • Participating in Asia regional priorities and strategic projects as assigned or other ad-hoc activities as required by senior management pertaining to the introduction of new services, products, and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Accounting.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in solution design and development of automation tools including but not limited to Power Platform, Alteryx, Dataverse, VBA.
  • Experience in accounting, banking, insurance, financial technology industry or multinational companies is an advantage.
  • Experience in project management is an advantage.
  • Flexibility of working hours – able to attend meetings in early morning or in the evening.

  • Proven experience with requirement analysis and automation development.
  • Willing to take accountability and full ownership of tasks assigned.
  • Creative and forward-thinking with the ability to propose and implement innovative solutions.
  • Ability to allocate time efficiently, handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Collaborative working style to engage with the rest of the team and ensure delivery.
