
Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven Mergers and Acquisitions professional to support business owners in achieving a successful exit. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management or sales, preferably in a marketplace environment.
The primary role of the M&A Advisor is to provide strategic advice and guidance at every stage of the process, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of sellers, providing hands-on guidance from initial onboarding through to deal closure.
- Provide expert analysis and guidance throughout the transaction process, ensuring a successful outcome for both buyers and sellers.
- Manage listings for existing sellers and support their sales journey, monitoring listing performance and providing regular updates.
- Conduct valuation-driven analysis of client-provided financial data to determine an appropriate valuation range.
- Support the management and coordination of platform-generated legal documents, such as Letters of Intent (LOIs), Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs), and Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
- Pair buyers with relevant listings, actively engaging with high-intent buyers and supporting them through the acquisition process.
- Cultivate relationships with the buyside community and manage key strategic stakeholder relationships.
- Assist team members in presenting business proposals and negotiate optimal transaction terms.
- Maintain CRM hygiene using tools such as HubSpot to track leads, interactions, and opportunities effectively.
- Lead post-transaction feedback sessions to refine strategies and improve ROI.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Brokering or a Sales role.
- Proven experience undertaking business analysis and process improvement.
- Previous experience in a marketplace environment or digital asset sales will be considered an advantage.
- Direct knowledge of the small business sales environment will be advantageous.
- Bachelor degree in business, commerce or marketing will be highly regarded.
- Results-oriented, independent and well-organized individual with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Adaptive to dynamic market changes and ability to identify and seize business opportunities.
- Profitability awareness, sales-driven and entrepreneurial approach.
