Chief Product Development Officer

This role requires a skilled professional who can oversee the entire product lifecycle, from sourcing and setup through launch, documentation, inventory forecasting, and restocking.
Key Responsibilities- Develop in-depth knowledge of all products to serve as an internal expert on product-related inquiries.
- Support technical scoping and assist with large or complex RFQs.
- Train internal teams and provide tools to make it easier to sell and support our offerings.
- Build and maintain detailed spec sheets, documentation, and internal product resources.
- Ensure accuracy and up-to-date documentation across product listings.
- Monitor performance, returns, and customer feedback.
- Identify gaps and lead the addition of new products.
- Forecast demand and ensure inventory levels meet business needs.
- Review and manage CAD files, certifications, and compliance documentation.
- Verify that product specs, listings, and supporting documents are current.
As a hands-on technical leader, you should be comfortable with flow control, automation, or mechanical components, and able to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and spec sheets.
