Job Title: Senior Functional Consultant

This role involves taking responsibility for functional analysis, identifying gaps in Microsoft Dynamics 365, determining modification requests to MS Dynamics 365 and writing specifications for their development.

  • Work as D365 Consultant on assigned engagements.
  • Lead conference room pilot sessions demonstrating Dynamics 365 ERP fit to the customer's organization or clients' requirements.
  • Advise customers on solution usage and help minimize gaps between standard products and business processes with creative configuration.
  • Prepare business process discovery documents.
  • Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O modules.
  • Prepare functional specification documents and design for customizations required for Dynamics 365 ERP implementations.
  • Prepare user manuals and training plans.
  • Lead end-user training.
  • Provide pre-go live and post go-live end-user support.
  • Ensure project documents are complete and projects are delivered successfully according to plan.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
  • Lead teams of consultants/analysts and take responsibility for their performance and admin tasks including approval of timesheets, expenses, and leaves, as applicable.
  • Assist in providing mentoring and coaching to junior members.
Key Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations in functional configuration.
  • At least 1 Microsoft Dynamics AX or Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations certification is required.
  • Ability to understand at least 2-3 different key functional areas of the ERP solution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and interpret business processes and requirements.
  • At least 5 years of experience with ERP systems.
