Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team, specializing in Network and Security Solutions. You will provide technical expertise and support to both sales teams and customers. You will collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and design network and security-based solutions to meet their needs. You will stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide the best possible solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand different customer requirements and propose network and security-based solutions, create and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, design scalable and efficient architectures that meet the customer's Palo Alto deployment needs, assist in the development of bills of material.
  • Validate Palo Alto network configurations, act as a trusted advisor for both customers and sales teams ensuring solutions meet the customer's needs, stay up-to-date on new Splunk features, trends, and competitive landscapes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field - 1 year of related experience in a similar environment is required, previous experience in presales engineering preferably within network and security solutions.
  • Strong English communication (oral and written) and presentation skills with good listening and comprehension skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of Splunk products (Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, Splunk ITSI, Splunk Phantom) and associated technologies, strong understanding of network security principles, threat landscape, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Network or security certifications are a plus (not required) - CompTIA Network+, Security+, Cybersecurity Analyst+, other Splunk certifications such as Splunk Certified Architect and Consultant, Splunk Core Certified User or Power User is viewed as a beneficial asset.
