Bookkeeping Support Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper Admin Assistant to support our financial and operational activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with Xero accounting software and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and reconcile general bank statements.
  • Enter bills into Xero and ensure data is accurately recorded.
  • Establish and maintain supplier accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable and ensure transactions are properly recorded.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including preparing monthly construction claims invoices.
  • Assist with payroll, Single Touch Payroll, and superannuation payments.
  • Reconcile credit cards and supplier reconciliations.
  • Handle general administrative duties, including correspondence and document management.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Xero Accounting Software.
  • 3+ years of experience with Xero Accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with flexibility to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Experience using task management and project tracking tools such as Asana.
