Marketing Insights Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Insights Specialist to play a key role in transforming complex marketing data into actionable insights and clear narratives that drive revenue and inform high-level business decisions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards in analytics tools, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and tailored to business objectives. Additionally, they will monitor and troubleshoot any data discrepancies or tracking issues.

The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing marketing data, identifying trends, and diagnosing KPI shifts across channels. They will also prepare clear, actionable reports that provide strategic recommendations—not just raw data—and create compelling data narratives to support decision-making for multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities include collaborating with SEO, paid ads, and development teams to translate data findings into operational actions, facilitating communication and task tracking for analytics-related projects, and ensuring alignment and clarity on data-driven priorities.

The position also requires the ability to support the setup and ongoing maintenance of Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking systems, as well as ensure analytics infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and meets evolving business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with GA4, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and Google Sheets in a marketing analytics context.
  • Proven record of preparing insightful marketing reports and dashboards (not just data entry).
  • Experience coordinating projects or workflows across multiple teams (e.g., SEO, paid ads, developers).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Prior work in a fast-paced, agency, or digital marketing environment.

Work Setup:

  • Remote position
  • Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
  • Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST (Central Standard Time)
  • Occasional weekend availability for urgent matters
  • 40 hours per week

Compensation:

  • $7 per hour
  • No benefits package included
