As a seasoned Asset Accounting professional, you will serve as a key expert within our organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in owning end-to-end asset accounting processes from acquisition to disposal, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will provide guidance on Asset Accounting operations, ensuring seamless integration with various departments for accuracy and quality of financial reporting.
  • Owning end-to-end asset accounting processes from acquisition to disposal will be your primary responsibility, guaranteeing compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective guidelines and procedures for asset lifecycle management, focusing on process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Monitor Asset Accounting topics and processes for adherence to Internal Controls, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Develop and implement robust controls to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of asset-related data, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the organization.
  • You will train and support asset accounting team members on processes and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with asset accounting management technology, exploring innovative solutions to optimize business processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in asset accounting operations, driving strategic initiatives to enhance organizational performance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for ERP projects involving Asset Accounting, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Support Internal and External Audits related to Asset Accounting, providing expert knowledge and insights to drive audit outcomes.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Finance, Accountancy or related discipline is required.
  • You must have extensive knowledge of end-to-end Asset Accounting processes.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Asset Accounting or General Accounting is preferred, with a background in a Global Business Services environment highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is essential, with knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) being a significant advantage.
