Job Description:

A thorough understanding of AASB standards, OECD transfer pricing guidelines, and Australian tax regulations is essential for success in this role.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial operations for the client, including entity-level and group-wide processes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accuracy, and strategic alignment in the media and entertainment sectors
  • Handle accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, inter-company coordination, and financial controls to support group growth
  • Manage individual entity focus: operational finance activities such as invoicing, payroll, and project accounting tailored to the unique needs of the media and entertainment company
  • Group-wide focus: responsibilities include financial consolidation, inter-company coordination, tax strategy, and strategic financial oversight to support client's growth
Requirements:

A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years working within a multi-entity group structure.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and hold a CPA or CA certification.

Experience in media, entertainment, or event-based industries is preferred, but not required.

A strong understanding of Xero or similar ERP systems, expense management tools, and Excel or Google Sheets is necessary for success in this role.
