Job Opportunity

Support a dynamic healthcare team as a detail-oriented and highly professional Prior Authorization & Scheduler.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations for medications, diagnostic tests, and procedures.
  • Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures in coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Manage patient calls while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Communicate with patients regarding authorizations, scheduling, and preparation requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and insurance portals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or medical scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance processes, benefits verification, and prior authorization workflows.
  • Excellent spoken English.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and patient-first attitude.
