We're seeking a highly skilled data professional to transform data into actionable insights. As a key member of our investment team, you'll play a pivotal role in analyzing startup ecosystems, building dashboards, and streamlining reporting to drive informed decision-making.

About the Role
  • Analyze startup databases and financial metrics to uncover early-stage investment opportunities.
  • Track industry trends, deal activity, and portfolio performance to inform strategic investments.
  • Support research efforts for new markets, sectors, and technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Develop data-driven dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and market developments.
  • Maintain and improve internal databases of companies, contacts, and industry benchmarks.
  • Automate routine data tasks using Excel, SQL, or lightweight scripting to increase efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing reports, visuals, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support due diligence processes with data summaries and benchmarking to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or consulting.
  • Prior experience in startups or venture capital firms is strongly preferred; a demonstrated interest is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, and chart creation.
  • Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
  • SQL for querying structured datasets.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
